Meet Monte Zysset, D.D.S.
Dr. Monte Zysset was raised in the Sandhills of Nebraska near the town of Valentine. He received his undergraduate degree from Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Nebraska in 1980. Dr. Zysset received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1984 from the University of Nebraska Dental College. He then completed a hospital-based, general practice residency, at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. In 1986, Dr. Zysset began a four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. His training provided extensive experience in orthognathic reconstructive facial aesthetic surgery, dental implants, and facial trauma. Dr. Zysset is a board certified surgeon and a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
After completing residency in 1990, Dr. Zysset and his family relocated to the Everett Washington area. Dr. Zysset practiced a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for 10 years north of Seattle. While in Washington Dr. Zysset served as the president of the Washington State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
In 2000, Dr. Zysset made a decision to move his family back to his home state of Nebraska. This would bring him closer to their immediate family and would allow him and his family to enjoy the qualities of living in the Midwest. While practicing in the state of Nebraska, Dr. Zysset has served as president of the Nebraska Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as the delegate for the State of Nebraska to the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a Board Examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons along with being an Adjunct Clinical Professor for the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Dr. Zysset is married to Sherri and they have three children, Kacie, Braden, and Jared. They enjoy going to Cornhusker football games and just spending time with family and friends.
